Job summary
The Senior Microsoft Cloud Engineer is tasked with ensuring the stable, secure, and future-proof operation of Microsoft infrastructure, with a focus on developing cloud and identity platforms while minimizing hybrid dependencies. Responsibilities include managing Microsoft Azure Services, particularly Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure Files, automating processes using PowerShell, and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code solutions with Terraform.

Qualifications
- Extensive practical experience in Microsoft infrastructure, cloud, or identity management at a senior level
- Solid practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure, ideally Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure Files
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and hybrid identity environments
- Strong PowerShell skills
- Practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts
- Proven experience in successfully implementing technical projects
- Experience in analyzing and modernizing existing technical architectures
- Ability to structure technical topics independently and develop solutions
- Structured, responsible, and solution-oriented work style
- High quality and security standards
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Very good German language skills (B2 level)
Responsibilities
- Administration and development of Microsoft infrastructure
- Management of Microsoft Entra ID and modern identity solutions
- Enhancement of hybrid identity architectures
- Management of Microsoft Azure Services, especially Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure Files
- Administration and development of Microsoft Windows Server environments
- Analysis and resolution of complex technical issues
- Automation of administrative processes with PowerShell
- Development of Infrastructure-as-Code solutions with Terraform
