Senior Multi-Cloud DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Designs, automates, deploys, and supports secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, with a primary focus on Linux and AWS environments. Builds Infrastructure as Code and containerized, microservices, and serverless solutions using technologies such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS Lambda. Troubleshoots cloud and networking systems and applies FedRAMP and other security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience developing, engineering, or supporting enterprise cloud environments.
• At least 5 years of experience with Linux and/or Windows enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services, CI/CD pipelines, and Git source-control workflows.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, OpenShift, or comparable container-orchestration technologies.
• Experience automating infrastructure and application deployments.
• Experience supporting cloud environments across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, including routing, NAT, DNS, VPN connectivity, and hybrid networking.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, or YAML.
• Working knowledge of FedRAMP and security and reliability practices for regulated cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Ability and willingness to work on-site at the customer location.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.
• Develop automated deployment pipelines using DevOps and Infrastructure as Code technologies.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Automate infrastructure configuration and application deployment.
• Design containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and support cloud-native, microservices-based, and serverless architectures.
• Develop secure cloud architectures aligned with FedRAMP and other applicable requirements.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, networking, automation, container, and deployment issues.
• Provide implementation guidance and technical support to customers.
• Create tools, technical documentation, operational procedures, and support materials.
• Evaluate emerging cloud and DevOps technologies and recommend implementation approaches.
