Senior Network and Cloud Engineer

Job summary

The Senior Network and Cloud Engineer at IMCO will lead the design and implementation of Azure network architecture, ensuring secure and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Network Technology, or a related technical field
• Relevant cloud and networking certifications
• Minimum of 7 years’ hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Azure networking
• Extensive expertise in Azure Virtual Networks and hub-and-spoke topology
• Practical experience with Azure Front Door and WAF
• Strong background in hybrid connectivity frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to oversee managed service providers
• Proficient with Azure Network Watcher and NSGs
• Strong grasp of network security hardening and compliance remediation
• Proficient in producing and maintaining detailed technical documentation
• Proven experience collaborating with business and technical architects
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud-native networking services

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and implementation of Azure network architecture
• Define and enforce network engineering standards
• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure Front Door and related global traffic management solutions
• Collaborate with and oversee managed service providers
• Drive end-to-end network initiatives from requirements gathering to operationalization
• Evaluate existing network architecture through performance analysis
• Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Monitor industry trends and emerging networking technologies
