Senior Network Site Reliability Engineer

Job summary

Miro is seeking a Senior Network Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability, availability, and scalability of its production environment. This role focuses on cloud automation, Infrastructure as Code, network reliability, and operational excellence within AWS infrastructure. The engineer will improve how Miro deploys, operates, observes, and governs cloud infrastructure at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in infrastructure, reliability, networking, or software engineering
• 6+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, Network Engineer, or Software Engineer
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, ALB, S3, Route 53, and CloudFront
• Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, BGP, IPV6
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud WAN
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, automation, and production operations
• Strong Linux skills
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or other scripting/programming languages
• Experience driving cross-functional projects from concept to delivery in Agile environments
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and network issues
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes (nice to have)
• Familiarity with AWS governance and security controls, including SCPs and IAM policies (nice to have)
• Experience improving reliability, observability, performance, or incident response processes (nice to have)
• Exposure to large-scale CDN, edge, or traffic-routing environments (nice to have)
• Experience working in globally distributed infrastructure or platform teams (nice to have)
• Basic experience using GCP and Azure (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Continuously improve AWS infrastructure operations
• Build and lead CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub)
• Provide automated solutions for IaC deployment
• Implement automation and observability across infrastructure resources
• Propose and implement infrastructure stack improvements
• Participate in operational rotation to resolve production incidents
• Maintain and develop IaC Terraform codebase
• Build, maintain, and optimize Amazon Load Balancers for efficient traffic distribution and high availability
• Configure and maintain Amazon CloudFront distributions for content delivery acceleration
• Develop and build governance policies for cloud infrastructure
• Maintain and develop CloudWan infrastructure
