Job summary

The Senior OpenStack Cloud Architect is responsible for building and managing production and test infrastructure on OpenStack, ensuring reliable service delivery across multiple environments. Key responsibilities include designing automated infrastructure blueprints with Ansible, troubleshooting OpenStack services like Nova and Neutron, and collaborating with engineering teams to optimize infrastructure for real workloads.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering
• Deep hands-on experience with OpenStack services
• Strong Linux administration skills
• Proven experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation
• Experience with major public cloud providers is a plus
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools is valuable

Responsibilities

• Build, release, and manage production and test infrastructure on OpenStack
• Design and implement automated infrastructure blueprints using Ansible
• Troubleshoot and resolve OpenStack service issues across Nova, Neutron, Keystone, and Designate
• Collaborate with Cloud infrastructure engineers and internal developer groups
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and runbooks
• Recommend and integrate process improvements with architects and engineering teams
• Ensure compliance with security policies in infrastructure deployments
