Senior Oracle Cloud Architect

Job summary

The Senior Oracle Cloud Architect will manage and maintain the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform, ensuring production uptime and service levels are met while supporting Oracle Cloud ERP environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Cloud Engineer managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platforms
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud OCI architecture, concurrent managers, workflows
• Excellent knowledge of cloning, patching, backup and recovery of ERP applications
• Hands-on experience with backup management and recovery techniques
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP system administration

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform
• Ensure database resources are appropriately sized
• Support physical infrastructure components including storage, security, networking
• Monitor system performance and diagnose software and hardware issues
• Perform routine DBA activities including database maintenance, backups, recovery
• Support application-related issues including queries, users, embedded SQL
• Create and test data backups and support recovery activities
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and IT teams
