Senior OT / Edge DevOps Engineer (d/w/m)

Job summary

Reverion is seeking a Senior OT / Edge DevOps Engineer to ensure monitoring and control of facilities, implement secure connectivity solutions, and optimize deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience operating Edge, Embedded, or OT systems, preferably in energy or industrial environments.
• Experience with Linux and Windows, including scripting in Bash and PowerShell.
• Experience in edge deployment, including setup and automated remote updates of critical services.
• Experience with remote rollout of updates for TwinCAT software is a plus.
• Practical experience with remote access concepts and mobile connectivity.
• Solid foundation in networking (TCP/IP, Routing, NAT, Firewalls, DNS) and ability to diagnose connection issues.
• Experience with containerization, especially Docker and Docker Compose, is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control.
• Strong security awareness.
• Strong ownership of responsibilities and ability to work independently.
• Very good English skills (at least C1).

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities are monitored and controllable, including on-call duty.
• Implement and maintain secure connectivity and remote access solutions.
• Set up, configure, and regularly update critical services on Linux and Windows systems.
• Optimize and maintain deployment processes for over-the-air updates.
• Diagnose and resolve connection issues and proactively improve monitoring tools.
• Monitor and secure data pipelines for uninterrupted data flow.
