Senior PAM and Vault Automation Engineer 100% (f/m/d)

Job summary

The engineer drives automation and platform development for Privileged Access Management and HashiCorp Vault, improving security, scalability, and operational efficiency. The role builds APIs, integrations, self-service onboarding, account provisioning workflows, and automated secret lifecycle, rotation, and certificate management across systems including Delinea Secret Server, IAM, CMDB, and infrastructure platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience, including Python, REST APIs, automated testing, CI/CD, and enterprise application development
• Experience developing automation for HashiCorp Vault, enterprise PAM platforms, and Fleet Commander
• Experience integrating enterprise systems through APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, GitOps, and automated deployment
• Knowledge of IAM, Active Directory/Entra ID, ITSM, CMDB, security platforms, and large-scale platform operations
• Ability to design scalable, resilient, and observable platforms
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to prioritize and resolve incidents, problems, and change requests independently

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation services for Delinea Secret Server and HashiCorp Vault
• Develop enterprise APIs and integration services
• Build self-service onboarding for application teams
• Automate secret lifecycle management, rotation, and certificate workflows
• Design and maintain account provisioning and deprovisioning workflows
• Automate privileged access governance
• Develop reusable PAM and Vault integrations and automation patterns
