Job summary
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is seeking Senior DevOps Engineers to lead DevOps at scale, shaping AWS environments, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering culture. This role involves contributing to demanding and exciting digital services for the UK Government, with a focus on delivering real value to people in need. Senior DevOps Engineers will also have line management responsibility, increasing capability, standards, and practices across the organization.

Qualifications
- Pass Security Check clearance
- Significant demonstrable experience developing and supporting AWS cloud-based applications
- Strong working knowledge of writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code
- Strong working knowledge of writing and maintaining Configuration as Code
- Extensive experience using Unix/Linux/Windows in a support and/or development environment
- Experience with scripting languages
- Demonstrable experience working in a DevOps environment
- Experience with Continuous Integration & Deployment
- Experience with Delivery methods and techniques, including agile scrum
- Strong working knowledge and practical experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability and experience supporting, guiding, and developing Engineers across multidisciplinary teams in an agile environment
- Experience working with and deploying applications on the Pega platform through various technical deployment and integration technologies
