Senior Platform DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Build and operate the infrastructure, pipelines, and control-plane safeguards for an enterprise AI capability that moves mission-focused AI solutions from prototype to secure, governed services. The role supports AI-enabled tools across AWS, Azure, on-premises, air-gapped, and classified environments; manages CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes orchestration, and AI model and agent lifecycles; and supports system security and RMF/ATO accreditation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and at least 10 years of experience, or a relevant master's degree and at least 8 years of experience
• Advanced proficiency in DevOps principles and practices
• Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience architecting and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience managing and maintaining AI model lifecycles
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Responsibilities

• Support operations, capability integration, and rapid prototyping for AI-enabled tools.
• Design and maintain AI infrastructure across cloud, on-premises, air-gapped, and classified environments.
• Develop workflows for AI model and agent development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines for AI models, agents, and applications.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes solutions and control-plane safeguards for identity, policy enforcement, approvals, auditing, logging, and observability.
• Manage AI model and agent versioning, monitoring, and scaling.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to streamline deployments and optimize resource use.
• Oversee AI infrastructure performance, security, and scalability, and support RMF/ATO accreditation.
• Research and implement DevOps tools and practices.
