Job summary

Lumenaza is a green-tech company developing software for the decentralized energy world. The platform enables energy providers to efficiently manage billing, market communication, and energy data, supporting scalable, renewable business models. The company aims to actively drive the energy transition and shape the future of software development, including AI-assisted and Agentic Development. This role is for an experienced Senior Platform / DevOps Engineer responsible for platform stability, operations, automation, and continuous improvement in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or a comparable infrastructure role
• Strong practical experience with Kubernetes, Linux, containers, and production operations
• Experience with incident response, production debugging, monitoring, logging, and operational decisions
• Good understanding of CI/CD, deployment automation, and infrastructure automation
• Ability to work in complex system landscapes, identify root causes, and implement sustainable improvements
• Clear communication in English
• Willingness to regularly collaborate with the team in Berlin
• Experience with various cloud or IaaS provider environments
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and deployment tooling
• Experience with observability, logging, or metrics platforms
• Experience with platform networks, service routing, authentication, or access management
• Experience with backup, recovery, database, or storage-related operational issues
• German language skills for daily collaboration

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve platforms as an internal product
• Collaborate with development teams to enable efficient, standardized, and self-service workflows, and easily deployable, supportable, and operable systems
• Ensure stability and operation of central platform and infrastructure components
• Contribute to container, infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD processes based on Docker and Docker Compose for stable, standardized, and repeatable operations
• Critically analyze existing systems, processes, and architectures, focusing on risks, vulnerabilities, and improvement potential
• Standardize and consolidate existing platform structures
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, operational processes, and architectural overviews
• Prepare and support internal and external audits by building transparency, traceability, and compliance-compliant documentation
• Further develop monitoring, alerting, observability, and operational transparency, including establishing and standardizing observability standards based on OpenTelemetry and Prometheus
