Job summary
Join the Platform Engineering team to build and operate an internal platform that supports over 600 developers. This role focuses on enhancing developer productivity through AI, including secure managed environments for AI coding tools, AI-assisted CI, and agentic workflows on AWS. The ideal candidate will have senior-level experience in infrastructure or platform products, hands-on GenAI experience, and strong AWS fundamentals.

Qualifications
- Senior-level experience (5+ years) building and operating infrastructure or platform products.
- Hands-on GenAI experience, including building with LLM APIs, tool/function calling, retrieval, agents, or agent frameworks in real workflows.
- Fluency with modern AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) in daily work.
- Strong AWS fundamentals and appreciation for Infrastructure as Code and Pipeline as Code.
- A strong understanding of developer experience and ability to identify impactful features.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team and drive topics forward.
- Solid engineering fundamentals: testing, debugging, code quality, and production readiness.
- Familiarity with SRE / DevOps principles and observability concepts (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, OpsGenie).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, ideally Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- A bias for shipping, comfortable with ambiguity and delivering working solutions with sensible scope.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate the internal AI platform, including secure AI coding environments, AI in CI/CD, agentic workflows on AWS (Bedrock / Agent Core), and reusable building blocks.
- Own products end-to-end, designing, building, running, and improving them with a product mindset.
- Identify developer friction points, determine solutions, and measure adoption.
- Take ownership of topics, plan work, drive to completion, and keep stakeholders informed.
- Set standards for building with AI and translate ideas into reliable tooling.
- Shape architecture and technology choices for platform foundations (Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC on AWS) and AI capabilities.
- Ensure platform reliability, security, observability, and cost-awareness, including participating in on-call rotation and troubleshooting production incidents.
- Capture reusable patterns, templates, and blueprints to accelerate organizational progress.
