Job summary

The Senior Platform Engineer role is centered on designing, building, and scaling the Azure AI Platform for a large Financial Enterprise. Responsibilities include architecting production-ready Azure AI capabilities, implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and managing API lifecycles using Azure APIM and Kong, all while ensuring rigorous security and compliance standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience with Azure Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry and OpenAI Service.
• Expert knowledge of Network Architecture (VNETs, Peering, Firewalls, Private Links).
• Hands-on experience with Azure API Management or Kong.
• Proven ability to create professional Cloud Architectures.
• Deep expertise with AKS, Azure Container Apps, and Azure OpenAI.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and observability practices.
• Ability to translate security and compliance requirements into automated controls.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy production-ready modular Azure AI platform capabilities.
• Build shared AI service capabilities by standardizing access to Azure OpenAI, AI Search, and Document Intelligence.
• Standardize application consumption through APIs, SDKs, templates, and reference implementations.
• Define reusable Terraform modules and templatized patterns for cloud resource provisioning.
• Implement policy-as-code and automated validation for deployment compliance.
• Provide self-service provisioning paths through GitHub Actions or platform APIs.
• Operate AI orchestration with clear service contracts and continuous improvement.
• Engineer production runtimes on AKS and Azure Container Apps.
• Manage API lifecycles using Azure APIM and Kong.
