Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance NestJS backend services, APIs, and file-processing pipelines.
• Design event-driven workflows with RabbitMQ.
• Manage service integrations, API contracts, and event schemas in a microservices architecture.
• Develop and optimize PostgreSQL data models and efficient database queries.
• Shape technical designs and architecture decisions for new platform features.
• Work on central platform topics like permissions and document services.
• Ensure solutions are multi-tenant capable and configuration-driven.
• Improve reliability, observability, testing, and operational stability.
• Support other engineers through code reviews and technical coaching.
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers while focusing on backend and platform.
• Communicate technical topics clearly to support informed team decisions.
• Ensure small, reviewable changes and high code quality.
• Utilize AI tools for development, testing, and refactoring.
• Use AI tools responsibly to enhance codebase understanding and documentation.
• Establish pragmatic AI-assisted engineering practices within the team.
