Job summary

Carbmee is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and maintain their AWS cloud infrastructure while ensuring security and compliance. The role involves ownership of infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability, with a focus on enabling engineering teams to operate efficiently.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AWS experience
• Solid Terraform / IaC ownership
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Security fundamentals
• Exposure to ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2
• Observability experience
• Calm under pressure

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure
• Own infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Drive observability: logging, monitoring, and alerting
• Support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audit readiness
• Lead incident response and contribute to reliability engineering
• Enable other engineering teams
