Job summary

The Senior Platform Engineer role is centered on empowering development teams through platform engineering, focusing on software development best practices and cloud abstraction. Responsibilities include developing APIs and infrastructure modules in Python and Go, automating infrastructure with Terraform, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, while ensuring operational stability and effective collaboration across teams.

• Strong skills and proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in Terraform and strong practice with CI/CD pipelines (ideally GitHub Actions).
• Good knowledge of automation (Python, Bash) and Serverless/event-driven architecture.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong sense of internal customer/user satisfaction, rigor in documentation, and ability to solve complex problems.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, minimum B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Utilize software engineering best practices to design clean, robust, and maintainable code creating abstraction layers above the Cloud.
• Develop and industrialize APIs, internal tools, and infrastructure modules in Python and Go.
• Design, test, and deploy infrastructure consistently and automatically with Terraform.
• Build and optimize modern CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions, integrating DevSecOps security standards from the design phase.
• Collaborate closely with Network, Security, and Database teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and secure integrations.
• Write clean technical documentation and user guides to facilitate platform service adoption.
