Senior Platform Engineer

Job summary

Driftrock is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to oversee the infrastructure and security of their cloud platform, enabling engineering teams to deliver efficiently and securely.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with production workloads on cloud platforms
• Track record of operating Kubernetes in production
• Fluency with infrastructure-as-code, ideally Terraform
• Strong cloud security fundamentals
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on coding experience
• Ability to shape and own a function
• Enablement-first mindset

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud
• Extend infrastructure-as-code coverage
• Build on identity, access and secrets management
• Maintain strong security posture and audit readiness
• Manage Kubernetes platform end to end
• Improve build and deployment pipelines
• Run upgrades and patching across the platform
• Enhance infrastructure observability and visibility
