Job summary

The Senior Platform Engineer role involves designing, building, and operating scalable platform services and cloud-native applications to enhance developer productivity and experience. Key responsibilities include developing distributed systems using Golang, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), while implementing observability and automation solutions to ensure platform reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience with proficiency in a modern programming language.
• Professional experience with Golang is preferred.
• Proven experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale.
• Strong hands-on experience with Public Cloud (preferably GCP).
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, and observability.
• Strong engineering mindset with a focus on quality, automation, and operational excellence.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimize workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate cloud-native platform services and distributed systems using Go/Golang, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Build and enhance platform automation, self-service workflows, APIs, and developer platform capabilities.
• Design and implement observability, telemetry, and reliability solutions.
• Drive adoption of modern cloud-native technologies and software engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers through technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
