Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or SRE roles with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Kubernetes cluster autoscaling and workload scheduling.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Crossplane, Pulumi).
• Experience with observability frameworks (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, eBPF).
• Familiarity with GitOps tools (Argo CD, Kargo).
• Proficient in managing Kubernetes applications (Kustomize, Helm).
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems.
• Understanding of web and network protocols (HTTP, TLS, DNS).
• Strong programming skills in modern languages (Go, Python, Ruby).
• Comfortable using AI as a collaborator.

Responsibilities

• Own observability, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters and critical workloads.
• Build and maintain automation for lifecycle management of Kubernetes clusters.
• Own infrastructure cost-optimization workstreams.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure decisions.
• Identify and fix reliability bottlenecks.
• Participate in on-call rotation for service disruptions.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis.
