Job summary
Immutable X is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own and evolve their AWS and Kubernetes foundations, develop Infrastructure as code, and partner with various teams to enhance platform support.
Qualifications
- Hands-on ownership of data reliability and observability
- Deep AWS fundamentals including EKS/Kubernetes
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD
- Proficiency in Go or ability to learn new languages quickly
- Comfort with AI-assisted development
- Experience with identity resolution and consent data modeling
- On-call ownership with awareness of alert fatigue
- High ownership and pragmatic problem-solving approach
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve AWS and Kubernetes foundations
- Develop and release Infrastructure as code
- Partner with security, product, and data teams
- Define SLOs, SLIs, monitoring, and incident response practices
- Set standards for observability excellence
- Measure systems' health and performance metrics
- Ensure world-class incident management processes
- Act as a technical expert on owned services
