Senior Platform Engineer (Infrastructure)

Job summary

Fresha is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to take ownership of the platform's architecture, ensuring it scales effectively while reducing operational risks. The role involves enhancing observability, leading platform initiatives, and fostering collaboration across teams to improve the overall engineering experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production-grade systems
• hands-on experience with AI/ML or LLM-based tools
• strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash
• experience with AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront)
• solid Linux and networking fundamentals
• experience designing or improving observability

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve infrastructure architecture for multi-region deployments
• Design systems for resilience, scalability, and simplicity
• Extend monitoring and observability across services
• Build tooling for safe deployments and fast rollbacks
• Scope, lead, and deliver platform initiatives autonomously
• Raise the bar through documentation and knowledge sharing
