Job summary
The Senior Platform Engineer builds and operates the shared platform used to develop, deploy, and run AI solutions, enabling secure integration with systems of record and other core systems. The role owns platform reliability, security, and ongoing evolution, establishing release standards, permissions, observability, evaluation, and shared retrieval services. The technology stack may include Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes, with a focus on production AI and agent workloads.

Qualifications
- Extensive experience building and operating production platforms used by other teams
- Strong experience with security, identity, automated testing, CI/CD, and observability
- Pragmatic experience building and maintaining platforms
- Experience running large language model or agent workloads in production, or demonstrated ability to develop this capability quickly
- Understanding of AI evaluation, retrieval, model and prompt regression, and agent observability
- Ability to explain technical and risk trade-offs to technical and business stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Implement and own the shared platform for building, deploying, and running AI solutions
- Take the agreed platform design into production
- Enable secure connections between AI solutions, systems of record, and other core systems
- Establish release standards, permissions, observability, evaluation, and shared retrieval services
- Work with AI, delivery, DevOps, Cyber, and Architecture teams to support safe and operable solutions
