Qualifications
- Several years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, software engineering, or a related IT discipline.
- Knowledge of Linux and container management.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience; Rancher experience is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps.
- Experience delivering containerized applications and understanding of application team workflows.
- Understanding of networking, identity and access management, security, and observability in cloud-native environments.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and contributing to root cause analysis.
- Ability to translate application and business requirements into practical platform and self-service solutions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, including very good English.
Responsibilities
- Design, operate, and continuously improve the global Rancher and Kubernetes container platform.
- Drive platform automation, standardization, and self-service capabilities.
- Provision, operate, and optimize Kubernetes clusters across on-premises environments and public clouds.
- Support DevOps and application teams in selecting container solutions and deploying, operating, and scaling workloads.
- Identify and address infrastructure, architecture, performance, and security improvements.
- Resolve complex incidents, contribute to root cause analysis, and implement lasting corrective measures.
- Improve monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies and integrate platform services.
