Senior Platform Engineer - Microsoft Power Platform & SharePoint Online

Job summary

The Senior Platform Engineer is tasked with managing and enhancing the Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Online, alongside core Microsoft 365 services. This role involves overseeing daily operations, establishing governance through the Centre of Excellence, and ensuring robust platform security while collaborating with developers and stakeholders to facilitate smooth migrations and continuous service improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience configuring, governing, and operating Microsoft Power Platform
• Practical experience implementing and using the Power Platform Centre of Excellence
• Strong SharePoint and SharePoint Online expertise
• Experience migrating legacy workflows to Power Automate
• Solid experience supporting day-to-day Microsoft 365 operations
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance
• Experience applying Microsoft Purview capabilities
• Ability to produce clear, practical designs and documentation
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills
• A collaborative, organised approach

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations for Power Platform, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and Exchange Online
• Establish and maintain Power Platform governance through the Centre of Excellence
• Define and maintain the platform’s target operating model
• Lead platform security design
• Collaborate with developers to establish engineering standards
• Plan and deliver SharePoint site migrations to SharePoint Online
• Coach developers and business users on reusable components
• Drive automation and continuous service improvement
