Job summary
The senior platform engineer designs, implements, maintains, and improves critical infrastructure that supports internal DevOps teams and a 24/7 cybersecurity service. The role includes managing a platform built with Tanzu, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform; automating delivery through CI/CD and GitOps; participating in DailyOps and on-call duties; and promoting security, reliability, Agile practices, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications
- HBO or university-level working and thinking ability, or equivalent experience.
- Substantial platform engineering experience in large or complex environments.
- Substantial experience with containerization, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD.
- Experience with Kubernetes or Tanzu container platforms, preferably in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Python, PowerShell, GitOps, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and bring teams along in technological change and standardization.
- Familiarity with security best practices and security-by-design principles.
- Fluent spoken and written Dutch and English.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a platform based on Tanzu, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Design and implement critical infrastructure, prioritizing monitoring, security, and reliability.
- Improve the platform through development projects, automation, integrations, and CI/CD.
- Provide first contact for second- and third-line customer requests, change requests, and incidents during DailyOps duty.
- Participate in daily standups, weekly Scrum activities, and on-call duty.
- Share knowledge and introduce colleagues to platform products, technologies, and innovations.
