Job summary
Raytheon is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to work in a hybrid role focused on building and improving development tools and infrastructure while ensuring cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- Experience in Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery mode
- Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure)
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
- Experience in building and deploying large-scale applications
- Container platforms and orchestration (ECS, AKS, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience in automation and integration tools (Jenkins, Concourse CI)
- Experience in scripting languages and source control
Responsibilities
- Build and set up development tools and infrastructure
- Understand project stakeholders' needs
- Automate and improve development and release processes
- Ensure systems are secure against cyber threats
- Identify technical problems and develop software solutions
- Collaborate with engineers to follow established processes
