Job summary
Build and operate the platform infrastructure for mission-critical, real-time trading systems across cloud and physical environments. The role covers AWS, Linux, networking, containers, infrastructure as code, operational resilience, security, and observability, with production-like benchmarks measuring throughput and p50 through p99.9 latency.

Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or comparable practical background
- Experience with dedicated host strategies, low-latency networking, CPU pinning, and host-level isolation
- Experience owning production infrastructure for distributed or real-time systems
- Hands-on AWS experience, especially EC2, VPC networking, IAM, KMS, S3, SQS, and SNS
- Networking experience with routing, DNS, load balancers, network security, service connectivity, and production traffic troubleshooting
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure lifecycle management
- Deep knowledge of Linux systems, containers, runtime debugging, and host-level performance tuning
- Experience operating workloads where predictability and tail latency are important
- Experience with stateful services, active/standby failover, recovery, deployment safety, and controlled cutovers
- Analytical thinking, pragmatic decision-making, and clear communication with engineering and operations stakeholders
- Experience supporting Rust-based service environments is an advantage
- Experience in regulated, security-sensitive, or high-reliability environments is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Own infrastructure across cloud and physical environments, including AWS, Linux hosts, networking, containers, and runtime operations
- Design and benchmark infrastructure for performance-sensitive services, measuring throughput, burst behavior, and p50, p95, p99, and p99.9 latency
- Operate and troubleshoot network paths across VPCs, routing, security groups, load balancers, DNS, private connectivity, and service communication
- Build infrastructure as code, host lifecycle management, and deployment workflows across development, staging, and production
- Improve reliability, failover, recovery, and operational safety for Linux runtimes, containers, serverless workloads, event-driven flows, and scheduled processing
- Harden IAM, KMS, secrets management, service connectivity, and secure operational access
- Improve observability with dashboards, alerting, tracing, health and readiness checks, and incident tooling
- Partner with software engineers on reusable infrastructure patterns, production readiness, CI/CD, and incident response
