Job summary
Build and operate a secure, reliable platform that enables engineering teams to ship independently while supporting international expansion and controlling infrastructure costs. The role covers multi-account AWS and EKS, infrastructure as code with Terraform and Terragrunt, GitOps and CI/CD, observability, security and compliance, and internal developer tooling, including AI agents. The platform operates in a regulated fintech environment with requirements such as PCI DSS, DORA, and NIS2.

Qualifications
- Experience designing and operating highly available distributed systems in production
- Experience scaling infrastructure globally
- Strong production experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Hands-on experience using AI agents in engineering work
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
- Nice to have: experience in fintech, payments, or regulated environments such as PCI DSS or DORA
- Nice to have: experience with Terragrunt, Atlantis, or GitOps
- Nice to have: programming or scripting experience with Python, Go, or similar
- Nice to have: experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, or Tempo
- Nice to have: experience building internal developer platforms or self-service tooling

Responsibilities
- Build and operate multi-account AWS infrastructure and EKS clusters
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terragrunt and Atlantis
- Maintain deployment and GitOps tooling, Helm charts, and CI/CD pipelines
- Develop and operate observability for metrics, logs, traces, and alerting
- Establish security and compliance foundations, including secrets management, access control, and regulatory controls
- Build internal developer tooling, AI agents, and Claude Code plugins
- Support international market launches with appropriate isolation, compliance, and reliability
- Enable business growth while keeping baseline infrastructure costs controlled
