Senior Platform Engineer

Job summary

Own virtual platforms for ComputeRAM® that enable pre-silicon software prototyping and hardware/software co-verification. Build and maintain full-system simulations spanning MCU cores, interconnect, DMA, and peripherals; integrate RTL models; and develop firmware, drivers, and bring-up code. Maintain cross-platform firmware validation and CI/CD using SystemC, Synopsys VCS, FPGA platforms, and Renode to surface integration issues early.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong embedded systems background, including C/C++, firmware, and drivers.
• Experience with simulators, FPGA prototyping, and system bring-up.
• Ability to work across hardware and software boundaries.
• Ability to debug at the system level.
• Ownership mindset and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-system simulation platforms with ComputeRAM®, MCU cores, interconnect, DMA, and peripherals.
• Integrate RTL models into simulators and develop firmware for hardware validation and stress testing.
• Provide stable software development targets for bring-up, debugging, and performance evaluation.
• Develop low-level drivers, system bring-up code, and reference firmware for validation and demonstrations.
• Maintain firmware-based test suites, cross-platform validation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify and resolve hardware/software integration issues.
• Evaluate and introduce platform development tools and methodologies.
