Job summary
Join the Platform Engineering team at AutoScout24 Group / Trader Corporation to build and operate an internal platform that supports over 600 developers. This role focuses on enhancing developer productivity through AI, including secure coding environments, AI-assisted CI, and agentic workflows on AWS. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern AI tooling, strong AWS fundamentals, and a product mindset to improve the developer experience.

Qualifications
- Senior-level experience (5+ years) building and operating infrastructure or platform products.
- Hands-on GenAI experience, including building with LLM APIs, tool/function calling, retrieval, agents, or agent frameworks in real workflows.
- Daily use of modern AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex).
- Strong AWS fundamentals and appreciation for Infrastructure as Code and Pipeline as Code.
- Understanding of developer experience and ability to identify impactful features.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Solid engineering fundamentals: testing, debugging, code quality, and production readiness.
- Familiarity with SRE / DevOps principles and observability concepts (CloudWatch, Datadog, OpsGenie or similar).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, ideally Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Bias for shipping and ability to turn ambiguous requirements into working solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate the internal AI platform, including secure AI coding environments, AI in CI/CD, agentic workflows on AWS (Bedrock / Agent Core), and reusable building blocks.
- Own products end to end, designing, building, running, and improving them with a product mindset.
- Identify developer friction points, determine solutions, and measure adoption.
- Take ownership of topics, plan work, drive to completion, and keep stakeholders informed.
- Set standards for building with AI, turning ideas into reliable tooling.
- Shape architecture and technology choices for platform foundations (Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC on AWS) and AI capabilities.
- Ensure platform reliability, security, observability, and cost-awareness, including participating in on-call rotation and troubleshooting production incidents.
- Capture reusable patterns, templates, and blueprints to accelerate organizational progress.
