Job summary

Par*** is seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient platform solutions across various environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field and 10+ years of related experience.
• Experience in platform engineering or related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise-scale infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes environments.
• Experience implementing automation using Ansible.
• Experience supporting Linux-based enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment.
• Experience supporting hybrid-cloud and enterprise data center infrastructure.
• Experience integrating platform technologies with networking and cybersecurity.
• Experience designing secure infrastructure for mission-critical workloads.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for platform and automation issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, secure, and maintain enterprise platform infrastructure.
• Engineer and administer OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
• Develop automated deployment and configuration capabilities using Ansible.
• Deploy and maintain RHEL-based infrastructure.
• Develop standardized platform architectures for consistent deployment.
• Support DevSecOps pipelines and automated delivery processes.
• Integrate platform infrastructure with networking and cybersecurity services.
• Develop and maintain platform configuration baselines.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and automation issues.
• Support platform modernization and migration activities.
• Evaluate emerging cloud-native and automation technologies.
• Create technical architecture documentation and operational runbooks.
• Participate in technical demonstrations and operational deployments.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams for compliance requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to personnel.
• Support mission systems throughout development and operational sustainment.
