Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer Location: Vancouver, BC Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable. Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, support enterprise platform initiatives, and drive modernization efforts. Responsibilities Lead platform engineering initiatives across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments. Support modernization programs involving core banking systems, citizen services platforms, OSS/BSS systems, billing platforms, and telecom infrastructure. Design and maintain enterprise platform services and shared capabilities. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders. Implement automation, monitoring, observability, and platform governance solutions. Support telecom network services, 5G platforms, and enterprise digital environments. Ensure compliance with governance, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements. Drive platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence. Promote platform engineering best practices and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Experience as a Senior Platform Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. Experience supporting banking systems, government applications, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, charging platforms, or telecom environments. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and platform engineering concepts. Experience leading modernization and enterprise transformation initiatives. Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and automation technologies. Understanding of governance, compliance, privacy, and security requirements. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments. Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
