Job summary

The Senior Platform Engineer at State Street will drive the architecture and implementation of complex cloud and hybrid data solutions, focusing on deploying and maintaining infrastructure using IaC tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of production engineering and management using DevOps methodologies
• 8+ years in developing production code in a high-level programming language
• 5+ years in production infrastructure management with major cloud providers
• Experience with cybersecurity platforms like Splunk and ELK
• Expertise in operation and workflow automation tools
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools
• Understanding of CI/CD tools and methodologies
• Experience in securing cloud platforms
• Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud environments
• Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals
• Ability to transform business requirements into software components
• Strong ownership and project leadership skills
• Experience with modern observability tools
• Understanding of distributed systems design
• Excellent communication skills
