Job summary
The Senior Platform Engineering Architect designs end-to-end solutions for complex cloud projects and leads their implementation and adoption by development and operations teams. The role shapes platform engineering, SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, GitOps, and Internal Developer Platform approaches while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and advising clients. It covers cloud architectures, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and container platforms, with a focus on quality, security, performance, and resilience.

Qualifications
- More than 10 years of experience developing and implementing complex client software solutions
- At least 5 years of technical leadership experience
- Experience defining cloud architectures
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and communicating directly with customers
- Experience implementing modern SDLC platforms
- Experience with Internal Developer Platform approaches
- Experience with Everything as Code, including Infrastructure as Code and Policies as Code
- Experience with GitOps
- Experience designing complex application, integration, and platform solutions
- Experience with microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with cloud computing and container platforms
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
- Knowledge of Scrum or Kanban
- Advanced or native Spanish proficiency
- Advanced English proficiency preferred
Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end technological solutions for complex platform engineering and cloud projects
- Evaluate and adopt technologies, tools, and products to improve the software development lifecycle
- Ensure solutions meet quality, security, and efficiency standards
- Lead software development teams and promote agile practices
- Monitor code quality, performance, scalability, and security
- Define and implement DevOps and CI/CD strategies using Everything as Code and GitOps
- Lead development of reusable assets for deploying Internal Developer Platforms
- Maintain technical documentation and development standards
- Coordinate with development, operations, and security teams to support platform engineering adoption
- Identify technical risks and propose solutions
- Support project managers with estimates and task planning
- Advise customers and validate proposed solutions
- Improve standards and internal practices based on project experience
