Job summary
Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior System Administrator to manage systems hardware and software infrastructure in a collaborative Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Qualifications
- University Degree and minimum 8 years relevant experience or Advanced Degree and minimum 5 years experience
- Active DoD Secret clearance required on Day 1
- Obtain DoD Directive 8140/8570 Certification within 6 months
- Experience with server architecture and troubleshooting
- Assist with Windows, ESXi, and Linux systems support
Responsibilities
- Manage server and storage systems
- Ensure security compliance with Cybersecurity professionals
- Mentor team members and resolve technical challenges
- Prioritize and assign tasks to team members
- Provide technical guidance in customer meetings
- Document and enforce system administration processes
