Job summary
Provides technical leadership for water and wastewater infrastructure projects across South Australia and nationally, covering planning, design, technical assurance, and delivery through construction support. Leads and reviews designs for pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and related infrastructure; advises clients and project partners, coordinates multidisciplinary teams, and mentors engineers. The work includes applying relevant standards and regulatory requirements and delivering practical, risk-based, value-for-money engineering outcomes.

Qualifications
- Experience designing and delivering water supply and/or sewerage infrastructure
- Strong technical knowledge of water infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities
- Experience reviewing engineering designs and technical documentation
- Experience contributing to or leading multidisciplinary teams
- Australian citizenship
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Baseline Defence Security Clearance
- Eligibility under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, and technical assurance for water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Provide specialist expertise in water supply, sewerage networks, pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities
- Serve as Lead Engineer, Technical Authority, or Independent Reviewer for designs and technical documentation
- Lead project delivery from planning through construction support
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and deliver integrated solutions
- Build client relationships and provide technical advice
- Support proposals, tenders, and business development
- Mentor and develop engineers in modelling, design, and reporting
Certifications
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), or working towards chartership
Degrees
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline
