SPD Technology is seeking a Senior Private Cloud Architect with expertise in VMware and Kubernetes to assess, design, and transform enterprise private and hybrid cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in VMware and private cloud solutions
• Architecture expertise in VMware and Kubernetes
• Experience in assessing environments and designing architectures
• Knowledge of VCF, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vDefend
• Ability to architect Kubernetes platforms
• Experience with NSX networking and routing
• Experience with VMware automation and orchestration
• Experience in migration and cloud-transformation strategies
• Enterprise consulting or professional services experience
• Ability to lead workshops and gather requirements
• Strong presentation and documentation skills
• Ability to identify risks and follow best practices
• Upper Intermediate English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture engagements from discovery through handover
• Run customer workshops and gather requirements
• Assess existing infrastructure and environments
• Design future-state VCF and Kubernetes architectures
• Create designs, diagrams, procedures, and migration plans
• Design networking and security solutions
• Define automation and orchestration architectures
• Plan installations, migrations, and disaster recovery
• Present recommendations and defend architecture decisions
• Hand over designs and guide delivery teams
• Support proofs of concept and technology evaluations
• Collaborate with stakeholders
• Maintain technical knowledge through documentation and testing
