Senior QA AI Automation Engineer

Job summary

RBC is seeking a Senior QA AI Automation Engineer to lead the development of AI-driven QA automation frameworks for critical data and risk management applications. The role involves managing end-to-end testing, collaborating with stakeholders, and enhancing testing capabilities using AI tools.

Qualifications

• Min 8 years experience in manual and automation testing
• 5+ years Python development
• Experienced with test management tools like Jira, qTest
• Proficient in API testing, database testing, and Web automation framework development
• Strong experience with SQL/DB queries, UI test automation using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, TestNG
• Hands-on experience in building reusable AI Skills
• Strong leadership capability to mentor junior engineers
• Be able to manage own work, and lead through actions

Responsibilities

• Contribute to AI-driven QA automation framework development for mission-critical Rates pricing systems
• Manage end-to-end testing across complex interconnected systems
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and application teams for requirements
• Hands on with vulnerability remediation in code base
• Design and maintain reusable automation frameworks, libraries, and components
• Champion AI-driven testing practices and tools adoption
• Develop scalable Skills to enhance application development and testing capabilities
• Evaluate and demo emerging tools and technologies
• Maintain QA team's GitHub repos
