Senior QA Automation Engineer - 100% (f/m/d)

Job summary

The QA Automation Engineer drives software quality as an embedded member of an Agile team, supporting testing from development through acceptance. Responsibilities include designing risk-based test cases, automating UI and API tests with Playwright and TypeScript, performing manual testing, managing defects and test data, and maintaining audit-ready regression coverage. The role involves banking-related Client Lifecycle Management and may require reading or writing Java or C#.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of test automation experience covering UI and API.
• Experience working in an Agile team; DevOps experience is preferred.
• Experience leading or supporting testing initiatives across the software lifecycle.
• Strong test case design and risk-based testing experience.
• Ability to explore databases to identify relevant test data.
• Good Jira knowledge; basic XRAY knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent English command (C1/C2); fluent Spanish is preferred.
• Accurate, reliable, proactive, resilient, collaborative, and committed to project quality.

Responsibilities

• Drive software quality across an Agile team.
• Define test concepts and coordinate test activities to meet quality, schedule, and cost goals.
• Design, execute, and document tests that cover requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify and automate suitable UI and API test cases using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Perform manual testing as needed, including when it is the primary testing activity.
• Create or organize test data and maintain regression test cases.
• Manage defects and support testing from development through acceptance.
