Senior QA Automation Engineer-Contract

Job summary

The Senior QA Automation Engineer ensures the quality, reliability, and performance of complex telecom and large-scale enterprise systems. The role designs and leads functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing, develops automation frameworks, validates APIs, tracks defects, and supports performance testing. Work is carried out with cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams, using API automation and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and tooling.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software testing experience.
• Experience with telecom, networking, or large-scale enterprise systems.
• Strong knowledge of test methodologies, software development life cycle, and QA processes.
• Hands-on experience with test automation and API testing tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test strategies, plans, and test cases.
• Lead functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Perform API testing and validate integrations across telecom systems.
• Support performance and load testing.
• Improve QA processes and tooling.
