Job summary

Plan A Technologies is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (SDET) to lead the Quality Assurance strategy and automation pipeline for their web applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software Quality Engineering with a focus on web automation.
• 2+ years building and scaling Cypress frameworks.
• Ability to read and debug backend services in Python or Go.
• Experience with automated quality gates in CI/CD environments.
• Proficient in capturing application logs and writing SQL queries.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Solid written and verbal English skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the E2E test strategy and framework architecture.
• Build and optimize automation frameworks using Cypress and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Integrate production smoke tests and regression suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate test failures and provide actionable context to developers.
• Establish QA guidelines and author technical documentation.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and DevOps.
