Senior QE Automation Engineer - GFT

Job summary

The Senior QE Automation Engineer at RBC will be responsible for planning, executing, automating, and tracking functional tests within the ARCHER portfolio.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience in Python programming
• Experience with test automation frameworks like Pytest, Selenium
• Knowledge of QE Processes, Testing Life Cycle, SDLC and Defect Management
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps Tools such as GIT
• Experience with SQL and database technologies

Responsibilities

• Create test plans, test cases and test scripts based on requirement documents and business User Stories
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using test automation tools
• Execute test cases (manual/automated), document test results and raise defects
• Work with JIRA, Confluence, qTest for test case management and defect management
• Participate in agile ceremonies including Sprint planning and retrospective meetings
• Participate in E2E and integration testing
• Participate in defect triage and Scrum meetings
