Job summary

Schmitt Engineering is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to develop and enhance end-to-end test automation for a CI/CD pipeline, ensuring software quality through automated testing.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in software testing and test automation with Java/Groovy, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, and Gherkin
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD processes and continuous testing and deployment
• Experience in developing backend services with Spring Boot and in an agile software development environment
• Ideally knowledge of Vue.js, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab/GitLab CI, Scrum, or SAFe
• High initiative

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance stable end-to-end test automation for a CI/CD pipeline
• Ensure software quality through automated API, web, and mobile tests
• Analyze and resolve test errors and optimize test pipeline stability
• Further develop test frameworks, test cases, and solutions for test data management and reporting
• Support technical evaluation and implementation of new solutions in the development environment
• Collaborate closely with agile development teams to continuously improve software quality
• Contribute to the successful implementation of new platform and product requirements
