Job summary

The Senior Research Systems Administrator role involves developing and enhancing Linux-based research computing infrastructure, including High-Performance Computing (HPC) and High-Throughput Computing (HTC) platforms, while integrating AI and GPU technologies. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex technical issues, automating systems administration with scripting languages like Python or BASH, and deploying containerized platforms using Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• significant experience designing, implementing and supporting complex Linux-based infrastructure and services
• experience using scripting, such as Python or BASH, to automate systems administration
• experience designing, deploying and operating containerized computing platforms using Kubernetes
• experience with HPC and HTC systems and software
• experience using Infrastructure as Code approaches and tools, such as Ansible
• strong communication and collaboration skills
