Job summary
The Senior Service Reliability Engineer role is dedicated to ensuring the reliability and scalability of mission-critical services within Fitch Ratings. Responsibilities include leading service delivery using Kubernetes, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with development squads to enhance automation and AI tooling, leveraging technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Datadog for observability and incident management.

Qualifications
- deep, hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
- strong track record operating Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
- practical, enterprise-level experience supporting IIS/.NET applications
- experience with cloud security best practices
- understand core infrastructure fundamentals
Responsibilities
- lead the delivery of reliable, scalable, mission-critical services
- guide squads on Kubernetes and modern deployment patterns
- mentor associate engineers and set best practices
- partner closely with development squads and operations
- own observability in Datadog
- champion AI-enabled operations using AWS Bedrock/SageMaker
- define and enforce cloud guardrails and security controls
- influence cross-functional roadmaps
