Job summary

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at FACT-Finder, you will ensure the reliability and performance of our product discovery technology while driving automation and incident response.

Qualifications

• Experience as an SRE, infrastructure, or production engineer in a SaaS environment.
• Understanding of SLOs, error budgets, incident management, and observability.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and interest in cluster lifecycle.
• Experience with Harvester or comparable HCI/virtualization platforms.
• Familiarity with GitOps, container storage, and Kubernetes networking.
• Knowledge of auto-scaling primitives and capacity planning.
• Understanding of networking in production-grade datacenters.
• Strong automation instinct to eliminate toil.
• Practical experience using AI tools in operations.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and own SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
• Drive incident response with fast detection and clear communication.
• Reduce manual work through automation and GitOps.
• Support development of a custom Kubernetes operator and auto-scaling rollout.
• Evolve observability with metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
• Plan capacity and cost across on-premise and cloud.
• Leverage AI tools for diagnosis and operational workflows.
