Job summary
Cisco's Webex Engineering Group is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to enhance collaboration technology through the development and management of Kubernetes-based microservices.
Qualifications
- Analytical Degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ Years demonstrated experience in software development
- Extensive architecture and programming experience
- Strong Kubernetes + microservices experience
- Experience with GitOps (CI/CD)
Responsibilities
- Own the design, codification, testing, and delivery of Kubernetes-based microservices configurations
- Drive operational perfection in a GitOps model using Argo CD
- Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, validation, and optimization of configuration-as-code
- Address complex challenges across configuration, policy, observability, and data services
- Own end-to-end configuration quality, enforcing governance with Open Policy Agent
- Advance a self-service platform using Backstage and Argo CD
