Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job summary

Develocity is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their new SRE team, responsible for the reliability, performance, and availability of their toolchain observability platform.

Qualifications

• Strong Kubernetes experience in production environments.
• Cloud infrastructure expertise, preferably AWS.
• Proficiency with observability tools and Infrastructure as Code.
• Track record of incident management.
• Knowledge of SRE best practices.
• Scripting proficiency for automation.
• Experience with 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Develocity instances and supporting services.
• Participate in on-call rotation, owning incident response and troubleshooting.
• Drive automation for deployment, upgrades, monitoring, and recovery.
• Build and maintain observability for managed services.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance reliability.
• Conduct incident response and retrospectives.
• Manage disaster recovery, backups, and business continuity.
• Communicate with customers during incidents.
• Optimize performance and resource usage.
• Evolve SaaS operations as the company grows.
