Job summary
The Senior Site Reliability Engineer II ensures the reliability of critical product domains and services by architecting high-performing platforms and collaborating with engineering leaders. Responsibilities include leading incident responses, driving the adoption of reliability patterns, and building advanced observability tools, focusing on cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and Infrastructure as Code.
Qualifications
- 6–10 years of SRE, DevOps, or production engineering experience
- hands-on mastery of complex distributed systems
- command cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- craft clean, high-performing code in at least one major language
- proven track record of steering large-scale incident management
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering teams to set reliability objectives (SLIs/SLOs)
- Lead cross-service incident responses during outages
- Drive adoption of reliability patterns
- Build and refine observability tools
- Influence product design and system architecture
- Mentor senior engineers and elevate best practices
