Qualifications

• Strong professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar roles.
• Experience designing and operating production systems in AWS.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code and modern CI/CD practices.
• Experience with observability and monitoring for distributed systems.
• Track record of applying software engineering principles to reliability.

• Engineer and improve reliable, scalable and maintainable systems.
• Build software, tooling and automation to reduce manual operational work.
• Improve reliability, resilience and observability of AWS applications.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams for safe system deployment.
• Enhance deployment and operational practices for quick changes.
• Identify and resolve recurring reliability issues through automation.
• Contribute to incident response and post-incident improvements.
• Define and evolve reliability measures and engineering standards.
• Provide technical judgement on reliability and operational risk trade-offs.
